School Closure

We have been issued with a status RED weather warning here which now forces school closure Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd March. We hope to see you all again Monday morning – stay safe and warm. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.


Mid-Term Break

St. Aidan’s will close at 12pm on Wednesday the 14th of February for the mid-term break. School will reopen on Monday the 19th of February at 9am. Have a lovely mid-term!!

Grandparents Day

As part of Catholic Schools Week we celebrated Grandparents Day today in St. Peter and Pauls Church. Here are the photos of the children with their Grandparents.

Grandparents Day Celebration

This is Catholics Schools Week and as part of it we will celebrate Grandparents Day by attending a special service in St. Peter and Pauls church on Wednesday at 1.30pm. All Grandparents and Parents are very welcome to attend. Looking forward to seeing you all Wednesday! Happy Grandparents Day!

First Confession

The children in second class will be making their first confession this Thursday, February 1st, at 7.30pm. Children to be in the church for 7.15 in full school uniform

Christmas Holidays

We would like to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas, we hope Santa comes!! The school will close on Friday the 22nd of December at 12pm and it will re-open on Monday the 8th of January at 9am. Have a great Christmas!!

Santa Visits St. Aidan’s

The boys and girls in St. Aidan’s had a very special visit from Santa Claus today!

Science Quiz

The children in 5th and 6th class took part in a science quiz in St. Caimin’s to celebrate science week. Well done to everybody that took part and in particular to Ciana Smith, Jade Carroll and Kachi Njoku who finished in first place! They won a fabulous trophy which will be kept in St. Aidan’s for the rest of the year.
