The children in 6th class will be making confirmation on Wednesday the 18th of April. They are asked to be in their seats at 2.30 pm in full uniform. Best of luck to all the boys and girls making it and enjoy your special day.
An arts & crafts summer camp for 4 – 12 year olds will be running in St. Aidan’s this summer from the 2nd to the 6th of July. It is €60 per child and family discounts apply. Further information can be found on the attached poster.
The boys and girls in St. Aidan’s took part in a football blitz today. The girls were unfortunate to loose to Lissycasey NS, however they were triumphant over St. Conaire’s. The boys were unsuccessful in their matches however they showed great skill and represented St. Aidan’s brilliantly. Well done to all the boys and girls involved.
We have been issued with a status RED weather warning here which now forces school closure Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd March. We hope to see you all again Monday morning – stay safe and warm. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
St. Aidan’s will close at 12pm on Wednesday the 14th of February for the mid-term break. School will reopen on Monday the 19th of February at 9am. Have a lovely mid-term!!

As part of Catholic Schools Week we celebrated Grandparents Day today in St. Peter and Pauls Church. Here are the photos of the children with their Grandparents.
This is Catholics Schools Week and as part of it we will celebrate Grandparents Day by attending a special service in St. Peter and Pauls church on Wednesday at 1.30pm. All Grandparents and Parents are very welcome to attend. Looking forward to seeing you all Wednesday! Happy Grandparents Day!
